It's been quite a long while since I've found a nice antique whimsy chain with some length to it--and this is that and them some. Stretching 86 inches and quite skillfully carved, with elegantly shaped long links interrupted with one long double ball in cage, and terminating with a "lock" secured by a cross peg (akin to pegged stoppers on the inside of bottle whimsies.) Really a pretty one, perfect for hanging or draping over a few nails, in excellent antique condition with a great dry wood patina. 

Approx 86" l. Each link approx 3 1/8" l. Excellent antique condition, no losses or repairs, warm dry patina.
