Sterling Silver Bracelet Embossed Artisan HandmadeThis sterling silver statement bracelet is made from little sterling tablets which depict an abstract image I first made as a printmaker in the late 1970's called "impressions of eight o'clock". To bring the print into silversmithing, I carved the image into brass first to be able to "print" the sterling silver, which I then fused onto another sheet of sterling silver. Many, many steps repeated six times went into the creation of this unique bracelet.

This sterling silver statement bracelet is made from little sterling tablets which depict an abstract image I first made as a printmaker in the late 1970's called "impressions of eight o'clock". To bring the print into silversmithing, I carved the image into brass first to be able to "print" the sterling silver, which I then fused onto another sheet of sterling silver. Many, many steps repeated six times went into the creation of this unique bracelet. So handmade? Absolutely as handmade as they come!
I made the size of this to fit anywhere from the wrist to more loosely over the wrist end of the hand the way most people wear a charm bracelet for example. The length is 8" but the way the clasp hooks on to the end effectively makes the bracelet about 7 1/2" long. Please measure with a soft tape measure to be sure this will fall where you like a bracelet to fall.
The tablets have been antiqued and to preserve the contrast the best method is to use a polishing cloth or a very gentle silver cleaner like Wrights.
