This lovely large pink mooakaite (rhodochrosite) was the perfect gemstone for a big statement ring in size 8. I love the color combination in this gemstone which is a form of sedimentary rock often found in locations also rich in silver. It looks great snuggled back with silver again!

I kept the setting simple and used a chunky bezel to really take some stresses but please respect that this isn't a kind of gemstone that will take a beating. The band is a curvy split shank, comfortable and stable. 

Please pay close attention to the size on the mandrel, as I cannot resize the ring.
