This truly iconic 1970's Ossie Clark moss crepe dress in the softest shade of Eau De Nil, is the perfect piece to add to your collectable and classic vintage wardrobe.  

The deep V shaped neckline, is framed by a notched dog ear collar. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves, which feature bell cut inserts along the midway point, which in turn gather in soft pleats along the seam, creating effortless drape to the bell cut cuff. The cross-over design of the dress, accents the deep V shaped décolletage and fitted bodice, drawing the eye to the cross over, which draws in with matching moss crepe ties that thread along the waistline. The simple drape of the skirt-line is accented by small gathered pleats that run from the waist seam. The moss crepe ties can be worn fastened in a bow along the front of the dress or along the back. The dress threads along the right hand side of the bodice, creating a left hand side cross over.

Closures: This dress fastens along the front right hand side of the waistline with a threaded moss crepe tie. 

Condition: In good but not vintage condition. There is colour variation to the Eau de Nil moss crepe throughout, some areas appear more vibrant, some areas appear to be slightly colour bleach. This is due to prolonged exposure to sunlight during storage. There are a few small scattered pink holes along the skirt-line, these are mainly along the back of the dress . Very gentle thinning to the moss crepe in a few areas along the back of the skirt line, this is only apparent when the dress is held up in direct light. A few very faint age marks, these are well concealed within the colour variation of the moss crepe.  Light fraying to the edges along the internal sides of the waist ties. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon very close inspection. We feel the colour variation to the moss crepe adds to the beauty of this piece and does not detract from the design or quality of this piece.
