The Tree Sun and Moon Skort is a wearable piece of art, hand-painted in my signature batik technique. This design brings together the sun, moon, and tree of life — ancient symbols of connection and balance — in a layout that flows naturally across the fabric.

This batik skort is made from a soft, medium-weight jersey with a wide waistband and gentle A-line shape. The built-in shorts underneath make it an easy go-to for active days — whether you’re hiking coastal trails, flowing through a dance class, or simply soaking in a warm afternoon at the market.

The background is a cool earthy green with a brown undertone, subtly layered with bronze and cream highlights that give depth to the batik artwork.

Each piece is sewn in Los Angeles and batiked by hand in my Oregon studio. No two skorts are exactly alike — the artwork is signed and dated inside as a mark of its handmade origin.

✨ Care Instructions:

My batik clothing is boiled to remove beeswax, which sets the dyes and makes the garments exceptionally soft and easy to care for. Machine wash cold or warm, tumble dry low. These are made to live in.
