Black Diamond designed the Distance 1500 head torch for endurance challenges. Bright illumination, a comfortable headband, and an interchangeable battery deliver on long-distance routes. PowerTap boosts the Distance to its brightest setting delivering 1500 lumens and illuminating 117 meters for 10 seconds to assess upcoming terrain, or trail markers.

A multifaceted lens design ensures a smooth and stable beam. Along with the front white light, there is a red strobe light on the rear battery pack. The interchangeable battery pack lasts 8 hours at 300 lumens and can be swapped one-handed for easy changing when you're on the go.

The Distance 1500 has a helmet-compatible Comfort Cradle headband, which contours to your head to minimise bounce. There is also a removable top strap for extra security on uneven terrain. The head torch has an IP67 rating, making it fully dust-tight and protected against water submersion down to 1 metre for 30 minutes.
