FABRIC & CARE

FABRIC CONTENTS: 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester

For centuries Cotton has been renowned as being the principal clothing fiber of the world, and its’ production is one of the most influential factors in world prosperity and economic stability. A medium strength natural plant fiber, Cotton is cool, absorbent, and can withstand high temperatures. When fabricated, Cotton releases perspiration quickly, allowing the fabric to “breathe”, thus giving it a premium on comfort and wearability. Because of its’ absorbency, it is easily garment dyed.

The most common fibers used for industrial knitted fabrics are cotton. Our Cotton Blend Knit Jersey Burnout is lightweight, it drapes beautifully on the body, and it has just enough stretch across the grain for added comfort and wearing ease. This quality fabric features a stylish burnout design that provides a soft textured surface with a subtle semi sheer effect, and it is suitable for sewing into many apparel body styles fashioned for women's clothing.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron.

THE STORY

Our Jinya Asbury Tunic Top was designed using a Cotton Blend Knit Jersey Burnout fabric chosen for long wearing comfort and minimal care. With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the classic tunic design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. The refined burnout texture adds a semi sheer and fashionable touch to support the soft hand of the fabric. Attention is drawn to chic design details and a whimsical “heart motif” print (which we call "Jinya") to help express your personal sense of style.

Our pullover Asbury Tunic Top features a traditional round neckline finished with a simple fold-over trim. Elegant draping flows downward from the shoulders into an arched bottom hem that falls to the upper thighs. That bottom hemline also has handkerchief points to the sides of the hips, adding a feminine touch to the look of the silhouette. Additional design elements include ¾ length sleeves, a comfortable fitted frame, and subtle stitching throughout the tunic. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this versatile top that pairs well with pants, leggings and designer jeans. Our colorful Jinya knit fabric print offers seductive visual appeal provided by the interplay of dual design artistry embodied in this fabric. The primary element here is an overprint mélange of fantasy shapes that use the “heart form” as a primary design element. These intricately drawn shapes are structured with symmetrical facings which give the print a kaleidoscope visual effect. The secondary element is the burnout netting rendered with a “paisley motif” design which provides soft textured, semi-sheer appeal. This superb visual effort wonderfully enhances the soft feel of our premium Knit Jersey fabric.
