Design

This purebred standard poodle is named Sunder. His "mom" says the following about her special dog: "Sunder (named for the small town Sunderland, MA to which he was brought home to) and his litter of purebred parti poodles all got parvovirus as puppies and were taken to the vet to be put down in their first weeks of life. The vet couldn’t bring himself to do it, so he chose to treat the puppies and find families for him- all puppies survived and found homes quickly! We were lucky enough to find this sweet guy just as Angie (owner) was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy. Sunder has been trained in obedience since day one and is now a certified epilepsy service dog. He brings the greatest joy to his family! Sunder loves sporting afros and mohawks. He also loves playing fetch, swimming, chasing birds, and taking naps. He patiently poses for photo shoots (his mom is a photographer) and could fool anyone with his “play dead” impression. We can’t think of a better dog or really, a better breed! All you poodle lovers understand just how special these doggies are!"
