This colorful 1960s maxi skirt for evening wear combines hot pink, bright green and tomato red alaskine fabric (a lustrous, crisp blend of wool and silk) woven with gold metallic threads to create a gorgeous, bold pattern. The skirt has a fitted waistband, and a faux-wrap design, which is actually a slightly overlapped, high slit on the left front side. The skirt has small gathers where it meets the flat, narrow waistband, and is very slightly flared from hip to hem. It fastens in back with a plastic zipper, and hook and eye. The skirt is lined with pink taffeta, except for the waistband. It is in excellent condition. Intended for formal wear, this eye-catching late 1960s evening skirt will also be fun to mix with everyday separates!
