This system is engineered to protect users in the event of a fall by progressively absorbing energy, significantly reducing the impact force on the individual.  Maximum arrest force (MAF) is 900 lbs (4kN) or less.

• Energy Absorption: The absorber uses progressive tearing of its internal webbing to limit the impact forces on the user. This ensures a safer, more controlled arrest in case of a fall, making it suitable for individuals weighing between 132 and 310 lbs.
  
  
• Compact Design: The Tuff-Shox minimal bulk ensures that it won’t hinder the user during movement or progression. Its compact size allows for efficient storage and handling without adding unnecessary weight or bulk to the harness.

• Durability and Protection: The energy absorber is housed in a durable fabric pouch that shields it from abrasions and contaminants. The pouch also features an easy-to-open system that facilitates regular inspection of the absorber without needing to remove it from the harness.

• Plethora of Installation Options: The Tuff Shox can be installed on the harness in multiple ways, depending on the frequency of connection/disconnection:
• Frequent Connection/Disconnection: A carabiner or snap hook can be held in place by the fully rated web loop or paired with a Fusion Presto Swivel to prevent tangling.

** Impoartant safety note: A shock pack or lanyard that have been deployed to arrest a fall must be imediately removed from service. The torn stitching of the sock pack is a clear visual indicator that the equipment is no longer safety to use.
