A curious and rather amazing old marionette, which based on some image searching I think is likely Italian--though the shield attached to one arm was fashioned from a Budweiser can! Clay/composition head, wooden legs wrapped in paper, cloth arms, and then tin armor everywhere else, including little tin booties! How to resist?--and feels these days like a knight in armor hanging around may be useful.

9" t x 3" w arms down. Good condition, just a bit of loose paper under his armpits, but the fabric of his sleeves there are in good shape. Sound and not especially fragile.
