When the nuclear waste pits on the Moon's dark side has exploded, blowing it out of Earth's orbit, the Moon and its stranded base plunged helplessly through the void. Each day the Alphans fought whatever the universe might throw at them - be it alien attack, wandering asteroids or deceptively welcoming space travellers...like DARIA. Daria was a huge and apparently deserted transporter which drifted across the Moons path emitting an emergency signal that warned of a nuclear explosion. Intrigued, the Alphans decided to investigate, only to discover that the accident had occurred centuries past - and that the survivors were grotesque mutants with a deadly ambition... The book is in Very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 47 year old. The front and back covers are nice clean and bright with only minor signs of wear which are mainly along the edges and a few minor creases and a small paper tear at the top. The spline is also in very good condition, again with only some minor signs of wear along the edges. Internally the book is in very good condition, all 160 pages are present and attached they are clean and bright without any damage or writing or markings on any page.
