Dagda is an Irish Celtic All-Father god, known as "the Good God." He is a member of the Tuatha Dé Danann pantheon, which is associated with the sídhe, the Faery race of Celtic mythology. As a god also of wisdom and learning, he is also an important deity in ancient and modern Druidism.

Dagda is a benevolent deity with powers of prosperity and abundance, magic and agriculture. He possesses a giant cauldron of stew that is never emptied, a harp that when played set the season to order and could command warriors in battle, and a staff which can deliver life with one end and death with the other. Often depicted with a ridiculously huge penis, he is also a god of virility and manliness. Dagda is married to The Morrigan or is her consort, and with Boann, he fathered Angus, god of youth and the Spring.
