Moon incense is blended to correspond to the planet Moon and the Lunar Goddess. It contains nine ingredients all ruled by Moon, nine being the alchemical number magick to the Moon. Like all the Planetary incenses, Moon incense is prepared with Hermetic precision. It is composed only on Mondays, and during the exact hour of Moon. Moon incense is made in the nighttime time hour of Moon on Mondays following the New Moon, to correspond to the alchemical symbol for the Moon.

Moon, the Water goddess, rules matters of dreams, divination, psychism, the sea, travel, cleansing, agriculture, the home, emotions, and imagination. You can use Moon incense as a devotional incense on Mondays, or to advance any magickal goal favored by the Moon.

Natural Magick incenses are composed of high quality resins, herbs, and sometimes essential oils. They are ritually hand ground on appropriate days of the week for Planetary influences and on the best day of the Moon's cycle for Lunar powers. Unlike most powder incenses, I use no "base" or filler to alter or dilute the powers of the active ingredients.

These magick incenses are made to be burned on incense charcoals. Light the charcoal with match or lighter, set it in a flameproof incense burner or on a brick, rock or bowl of sand, pebbles, or salt. Allow the charcoal to light completely and then sprinkle on a pinch the incense. Add more pinches as desired. See sidebar for more detailed instructions.
