Deirdre Ann Barlow (previously Rachid) was a long-standing Coronation Street resident and wife of Kenneth Barlow - a lifeless, uninteresting and standard missionary lover.

Deirdre grew up in Weatherfield, Manchester, raised by her mother Blanche - a nosey, gossiping and borderline alcoholic. Due to this, Deirdre endured a vanilla existence in Weatherfield until things really got spicy, with the arrival of Dev Alahan-Hurst.

After Dev wooed Deidre's daughter Tracey into the bedroom above his convenience store, he and Deidre eventually became the talk of the cobbles, when they struck up an unlikely romance. Some say Blanche was the only women the subsequently stood in Dev's way for him to secure the fabled 'Holy Trinity'.

Shirts & Giggles would not be able to continue to look ourselves in the mirror if we didn't recognise Deidre's soap opera rollercoaster, and therefore we created this design. 

We will keep our fingers crossed for the ability to create a design for the Holy Trinity of Weatherfield one day soon!
