The Noe is one of the oldest Louis Vuitton designs and was conceived when a champagne producer approached Vuitton in need of a bag which would allow him to carry 5 bottles of champagne. Condition: Great condition. The exterior canvas is in great condition with light wear only. The trim is in very good condition with light rubbing to the corners, base edges and trim around the opening, with faint water marks throughout, particularly to the rear and sides of the base trim, with the odd dark mark. The base shows light surface scratches and darkening throughout, with light water marks. A section of leather drawstring has come apart, though this not does affect the function of the bag, as the drawstring piece can be knotted back on at the inside (see photo 10). The handle is in great condition with light creasing, light marks and darkening, particularly to the tops. The hardware is in great condition and has darkened to a natural brass tone. The interior shows the odd faint mark to the base but is otherwise in excellent condition with very little wear.
