A pair of steel racing stirrups, steel is relatively heavy so was commonly replaced by lightweight aluminium, these are likely to date from the early 20th century.
Their bases are stamped "Pariani" and "Milano" . Pariani Saddlery started in 1903 in Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Milan and became famous for working with Caprilli on saddle designs, the company is still operating today.
