This .925AG, Sterling Silver round jump ring is ideal for your high-end silver designs. Jump rings are made from coiled wire and have an opening that allows you to insert it through a ring, loop or hole on another finding. A staple of the jewelry-making industry, these rings are ideal as attach rings for component designs, as strand or chain ends, and as links for creating chain. Solder rings closed to ensure that connections are permanently secure. When used with the a Permanent Jewelry Welder, a setting of 6-7m/ws works best. Incorporating argon helps eliminate oxidation (black spots) on your silver jump ring. After welding, wipe clean with a red fiberglass bristle brush. Make sure to keep a sharp tip on your 1mm tungsten electrode.
