I believe this sweet cast lead polar bear was made by Britains, London toy company in the early 20th century or so, and was once part of a larger zoo or circus set. I find him completely charming and really love his  paws-up posture--and that he is hollow, which makes him the perfect finger puppet! 

Lots of wear to the creamy white paint, which I think just makes him better. 2 1/4" tall x 1 3/8" wide and deep. He is marked on the bottom but difficult to ready--all I can make out for certain is '"Copyright'".
