Certainly the perfect gift for any mother! Better in person, where one can appreciate the detail, this is all hand done, ink and watercolor on heavyweight paper, late 19th c. I believe. Due to the scale, one actually needs a bit of distance from it to read the message, but much of the beauty and delight is in the details, which somehow seems appropriate in speaking to the nature of a mother! Beautifully done. 

21 1/4" x 8 3/4" and in good condition, with some scattered toning and spotting and a couple of water stains as documented.  There is a bit of a bend in the heavy paper/light board--not a fold or crease, and it will lie flat once mounted/framed.  Shipped flat.
