This refined set of eight dining chairs, produced by Celina Decorações in the 1960s, reflects the restrained elegance that defined Brazilian Modern furniture during its most mature period. Crafted from cerejeira hardwood, each chair features four gently curved legs, a sculpted seat, and a tall, supportive backrest that emphasizes verticality without heaviness.

The seats and backrests have been newly caned by our master caning specialist in Rio de Janeiro, using traditional methods that honor the original design. The caning introduces texture and visual lightness, a hallmark of Brazilian Modernism, while responding to the country’s climate through breathable materials. The wood has been professionally refinished, revealing a warm tone and consistent grain throughout the set.
