Designed in the 1960s by Jean Gillon, this exceptional credenza represents a rare private commission executed at the highest level of Brazilian Modern craftsmanship. Constructed from Brazilian rosewood, the rectangular structure is supported by two primary legs and discreet auxiliary supports, creating a floating architectural rhythm.

The piece features five generously sized drawers and four cabinet doors with interior shelving. Brass accents appear throughout the joints, edges, and original keys, adding refined contrast to the warmth of the rosewood. The quality of the wood is immediately evident in its smooth surface, deep grain, and rich tonal variation. Subtle curves soften the otherwise linear silhouette, echoing modernist architectural language from Brasília during the same period.
