I love the slightly demonic looking face on this old rag bunny, which clearly did not deter someone, or someones, from loving it a whole lot, including doing a bunch of darning to its backside to preserve it. One can see some color from the rags stuffed inside showing through the cream colored fabric of its "skin" (which has a bit of a silky sheen) beneath the darning, though it is mostly a similar cream showing through the threadbare spots on the front. Hand-embroidered black features on the face, and the faint outline of a tail on the reverse, much worn. How not to love a creature like this?
