Their bases are stamped "Turk" . Charles Turk was a saddler and harness maker in Worcester in the mid-19th Century.
The arches of the stirrups taper upwards to integral suspension loops
The hollow oval treads have hand punched marks to help grip
They have some surface oxidation which could be polished off.
