What is Electro Balance?
Horses need certain charged minerals to maintain the balance and flow of vital body fluids, for the transmission of nerve impulses and the healthy function of the muscles and circulatory system. These charged minerals are known as electrolytes.

Electrolytes are also essential for the formation of new body tissues and are needed in enzyme functions such as recovery, energy transfer, cell growth, digestion and healing ability. Loss of electrolytes during exercise can lead to muscle tremors, uncoordination and severe exhaustion.

Electro Balance for Championship Performances

During periods of training, performance and high temperatures and humidity, horses lose large quantities of electrolytes through their sweat. Loss of these electrolytes causes fatigue and muscle weakness, and decreases the thirst response to dehydration. It is vitally important that endurance horses begin competition with optimal levels of fluids and electrolytes in their bodies and that these important nutrients are replaced throughout a ride. Sodium is necessary to balance the body water and maintain blood pressure. Potassium helps balance the fluids inside the cells and is vital for optimal muscle and kidney function. Chloride helps maintain the balance between the acids and bases. Magnesium is a very important co-factor for over 300 enzymes in horses' bodies of which without magnesium, they cannot function. Ingredients:

Dextrose, Sodium Bicarbonate, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Vitamin A Acetate, Niacin Supplement, Biotin, Vitamin E Supplement, Folic Acid, d-Activated Animal Sterol (source of Vitamin D3), Riboflavin Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Menadione Dimethyl Pyrimidinol Bisulfite (source of Vitamin K3), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Dried Lactobacillus acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus lactis Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus casei Fermentation Product, Dried Streptococcus diacetylactis Fermentation Product, Dried Bifidobacterium bifidum Fermentation Product.

Directions:

Add 1 to 2 scoops (approx. 2 ounces) of Electro Balance in feed or water. May be given in 1 or 2 feedings daily as necessary.
