Installation Instructions

Step 1: Clean the Surface
Thoroughly clean the area using a strong grease remover like TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate). A smooth, dry surface is essential for strong adhesion.
Tip: If your walls have been freshly painted, wait at least three weeks before installing the tiles.

Step 2: Plan and Cut
Mark the layout on the wall using a pencil and ruler. For precise cuts, use a box cutter along with a metal ruler that has a cork backing.

Step 3: Peel and Stick
Peel back a portion of the protective backing—be careful not to touch the adhesive, as dirt, dust, and oils can weaken it. Align the tile with your guide and press it lightly into place. Once positioned correctly, remove the rest of the backing and press firmly using a plastic smoother, especially along the grout lines and textured areas.
Tip: The adhesive bond typically sets fully within 48 hours. For best results, press the grout lines again after 24 hours.

Step 4: Finish and Enjoy
Repeat the process to continue tiling your wall for a seamless and stylish finish.

Recommended Surfaces:
These tiles adhere best to smooth and clean surfaces such as:

Avoid applying tiles to the following:

• Greasy or oily walls

• Unfinished drywall or plaster
  
• Unpainted plywood

Important Note:
If the wall surface is unsuitable or if additional bonding strength is needed, we recommend using 3M Purpose 45 Spray Adhesive for improved adhesion.
