The new 2016-2025 KTM/Husqvarna/GASGAS 65 comes with new plastics and a new pipe and silencer. The new pipe fits tightly against the cylinder leaving very little room for the power valve hose to pass by, it actually touches both the cylinder and expansion chamber and gets extremely hot. Nihilo Engineers have found that the power valve hose can become very hot and burn right through if left unprotected, this could cause power valve failure when a hole is allowed to melt through the hose. Because all pressure will be lost with a leaky hose the power valve will not work. Nihilo has come up with a way to protect your power valve hose with high temperature low weight silicone sleeves rated to 400 degrees with up to 500 degrees for short durations. Your typical operating temperature of the exhaust and cylinder on a 65 is approximately 285 degrees so you will have more than enough protection.
