We’re brewing something we’ve never brewed before: a hop-forward lager. Inspired by New World Pilsners, we’ve taken a pilsner base but dry hopped it like one of our West Coast IPAs, combining two of our original loves.

To ease us in to this style we’ve gone with some funky German hop varieties in Hallertau Blanc and Huell Melon, which provide notes of gooseberries, strawberries, honeydew melons and pineapple without overpowering the inherent breadiness and herbaceous notes of our pilsners.

We hope you find it as exotic and enticing as the foreign films that were once displayed on the Civic Video shelves in the exact spot where our bar currently stands in our Katoomba brewpub.
