This whip has a staghorn handle.
There is a silver button on the heel of the staghorn stamped "Swaine & Adeney Ltd,. London".
It has a silver collar with ribbed edges, it is stamped "Swaine" and hallmarked London the date letter is illegible.
The collar is engraved "Hattie 1930" . There are small dents and dings in the silver.

The stock or shaft is covered in brown braided leather.

It has a stitched leather keeper and a braided leather thong with bound repair and a cord lash at its end.
