The BB0802A Tektro Hydraulic Disc Brake RMTB is a hydraulic disc brake system that is easy to install, adjust, and maintain. The system has an open, dual-piston design and is supplied without a brake disc. The brake lever is made of aluminum and has a cast aluminum bracket. The reach is 86-90 mm (HD-M285) or 81-85 mm (HD-M286). The caliper has a forged aluminum body and caliper positioning is automatic via front and rear adapters. The caliper has a black finish. The brake pads are E10.11 (organic compound) and are easy to replace. Metal Ceramic Compound brake pads are also available as an option. The system uses a liquid, non-corrosive mineral oil and has excellent thermal expansion properties. The brake weighs 285 grams for the front and 305 grams for the rear.
