Dosage

Warnings

• Patients taking high doses of St John's Wort are advised to avoid excessive exposure to sunlight or artificial UVA light
• St John’s Wort should be used cautiously in patients with known photosensitivity or in patients taking photosensitising agents
• St John’s Wort affects the way many prescription medicines work, including the oral contraceptive pill
