A supple and fond expression of Chinon Rouge characteristic of calcareous sand soils. High in fruit with notes of raspberry, redcurrant and blackcurrant.  A wine to taste immediately but which will be even better after a few years of rest.

Belgian-born Martine Budé has been making wines in Chinon, Loire, since 2015. Budé learned good lessons of vineyard management and yield control from her neighbour, the highly-regarded vigneron Philippe Alliet. The wines she produces are the epitome of elegance.
