Full Bloom is an excellent example of the very best a 100% natural (tree-dried) coffee can be: a rich, syrupy blend of ripe stone fruits, blueberries and plums with a very long caramel finish. As an espresso, it is as creamy as it sounds. In drip brews, it makes for a rich, fruity cup.

A stable climate, with dry, cool winters and warm, humid summers. Dry winds on pleasantly warm days and refreshingly cool nights. It sounds like the perfect holiday destination. In fact, it’s the ideal environment for growing incredible beans. This is what you’ll find in the region where the Daterra estates are located.

Their estates in the town of Patrocínio are the oldest coffee plantations in Brazil’s Cerrado region and are among the country’s finest coffee-producing areas. All plantations are situated at an average altitude of over 3,000 feet, with some terroirs reaching around 4,000 feet.

The wind, sun and soil are exceptional for Arabica trees. The varying altitudes and microclimates create conditions that delight the palate with a wide range of flavours, from velvety and chocolatey profiles to bright and floral notes.

Coffee connoisseurs and world champion baristas frequently visit the farms, and we work together to develop innovative processing methods for the coffee cherries and create new micro-lots of exceptional coffee.

Sustainable agriculture was still largely unknown in Brazil when they began their work with coffee. How can you take something from the land without damaging it? Simple: you borrow it and then give it back.
