Just a fun one, which the notes on the reverse tell us is a photograph of a sign that once hung at the entrance to the covered bridge that extended across the Connecticut River connecting East Hartford and Hartford - built in 1818 and destroyed by fire in 1895. With fares listed for just about every permutation of traveler and transport one could imagine, along with prices; down to 3 cents for each extra beast! A nicely straight ahead snapshot, with all text completely readable; all sorts of contexts this good be good hung in, I think.
5" x 3 7/8", very good condition, glossy snapshot, annotated on reverse.
