The BNT is Bont’s sleek and traditional inline speed skate boot, with a streamlined design. The boot's base is 100% carbon fiber and is reinforced with Bont's renowned heat-moldable epoxy resin. The padding is made from neoprene, a closed-cell foam that remains water-resistant.

This ultra-lightweight speed skating boot has no bumpers, thermoplastic, or zippers. Its carbon base has a matte finish, providing a lighter alternative to the usual gloss finish of most inline speed skates.

The exterior layer is constructed from Durolite, a material typically reserved for the Bont Vaypor. The liner, made of Suede-L, provides a comfortable feel with or without socks.

The mounting blocks are composed of aluminum and feature hardened steel nuts. It may be of interest to note that Bont has never had a skate returned due to mounting block problems. Our system is resistant to errors. Loctite has been applied to the mounting screws to prevent them from loosening during a race.

 The boots feature ventilation to maintain coolness, velcro to secure the tongue, and comfortable padding to prevent lace bite. Additionally, the waxed laces have minimal stretch and the boot is built on a tighter heel last for a secure and customizable fit.

This high-performance BNT inline boot is designed for professional racers and not suitable for those seeking extra padding.

Q: What is the difference between the Vaypor and the BNT?

A: The Bont Vaypor uses uni-directional carbon which is hand-laid and takes longer to apply to the base of the boot and makes the boot lighter and stronger. The BNT uses standard cross weave carbon. The BNT is tighter in the heel and uses 2mm neoprene padding whereas the Vaypor uses 4mm EVA padding. The result is that the BNT feels harder. The Vaypor is more aerodynamic. The Vaypor’s mounting blocks have a more flowing look where the block meets the boot whereas the BNT has a more upright look.
