• Maintenance: Grow this plant in average, slightly acidic, well-drained soils in full sun. It is drought tolerant once established. In the south, it may benefit from some afternoon shade.

• General Information: Deciduous shrub, upright, mounding, somewhat compact, 4-6 ft (1.2-1.8 m) high and wide. Leaves ovate to rounded, about 10 cm long, 3-5 lobed, deeply cut, wine-red to bronze-red during much of the growing season, but becomes green in areas with hot summers.
