Timed to coincide with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003 in South Africa this book begins with an account of the 2003 final in Johannesburg. Edward Griffiths then goes back to the beginning - the genesis of the one-day game with the launch of the Gillette Cup in 1963 and traces the development of the game over four decades.
