The palate is generously fruited with morello cherry and raspberry flavours, and the tannins are supple yet savoury and intermingle with the fruit layers. A bright line of cranberry-like acidity pulls it everything together. Fine, long and intricately detailed this wine can be drunk now but will gain further complexity with medium term cellaring.

This Massale Pinot Noir will pair well with Roast duck, Mushroom risotto, Grilled salmon, Roast pork, Roast lamb, Eggplant parmigiana and Baked brie with rosemary.
