We start with our flavorful dark robust pure maple syrup and age it in empty Rye Whiskey barrels from Wigle Whiskey in Pittsburgh PA.  The result is a delightful combination of robust maple flavor and the distinctive character of rye whiskey.  Drizzle over fresh fruit, hot apple pie or vanilla ice cream.

Old State Farms artisan maple syrup comes from wild grown hard maple trees in the Appalachian mountains. These trees grow on steep slopes in glacial soil. The trees are fed by spring rain and abundant summer sunshine. Their syrup is harvested and bottled on-site in the family's "sugarhouse".
