As you can see from the number of photos I'm posting, I had a lot of fun posing this wonderful fellow, and certainly find him quite an evocative figure! Dating to the mid 19th century or so, he once would had a dowel that attached to the hole at the top of his head, allowing one to hold him up and make him dance. Now, he makes quite a striking silhouette when hung on the wall, with the only challenge being picking a favorite pose and then fixing it in place with a couple of strategically placed little nails--under a knee or foot for example, as they need just a little support to stay in place.  

13" tall; 2 1/2" across if arms and legs are positioned straight down. Very good condition, with all joints moving easily. Some aging/rusting to the surface of the tin, as one would expect.
