SEI's drives come standard with a three-year, fault-free warranty. This means that the unit is covered for any failure that requires the drive to be repaired or replaced. Run it without lubrication, crash into a stump, suck up some fishing line, it does not matter, the SEI drive is always covered. For either a year or three years from the date of the actual purchase, Sterndrive Engineering ("SEI") warranties all items it sells. Proof of purchase of the SEI product is a prerequisite for the enforcement of these guarantees. Prior to collecting warranty benefits under this clause, the client must provide satisfactory proof of purchase. All other guarantees and potential damages are limited and excluded under the terms of this agreement, as explained below, and only these one (1) year and three (3) year warranties against defects in material and workmanship are granted by SEI. These warranties start when the package is shipped.

Brunswick Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Sterndrive Engineering, Inc. (or SEI) has no affiliation with the Brunswick Corporation. Sterndrive Engineering, Inc. manufactures a stern drive designed to replace Mercury Marine's MerCruiser, Alpha One, R, MR, and Gen II stern drives. MerCruiser, Alpha One, Gen II, R, and MR are trademarks of the Brunswick Corporation. As with any after-market product, any warranties governing products manufactured and/or sold by Brunswick Corporation will not apply to products manufactured and/or sold by Sterndrive Engineering, Inc.
