I love Acoma pueblo pottery for the graphic hand-painted patterns but am pretty fussy about the pieces I like--usually I'm drawn to much old pieces, but this one, c. 1970s or so I believe and made by well known potter Rita Malie, is I think a really lovely more contemporary example. Great all the way around, and with enough age to it to have a nice patina.
3 1/2” w x 3 3/16” t; 2 1/2” across inside lip. Very good condition, with one tiny paint scuff on one side and a couple of very tiny chips to the inside of the lip, all as documented and which I don't think detract a bit.
