3. 5 Deutsche Mark (1948) - Early Soviet Zone Issue:

   • Note: This is an early issue from the Deutschen Notenbank. Note the use of "Deutsche Mark" before the currency was officially renamed to differentiate it from the West.

   • Design: Classic ornate guilloche and engraving styles typical of late 1940s recovery currency.

4. 50 Deutsche Mark (1955) - High Denomination Mid-Century (Bottom):

   • Design: A larger, red-toned note featuring high-security "notenbank" patterns. These early 50 Mark notes are significantly harder to find than the later small-format versions.
