The Knipex 02 06 180 VDE high-leverage combination pliers enable a 35% reduction in effort compared to conventional combination pliers, while the optimized transmission makes work easier. They are forged from special tool steel of a special quality and multi-stage oil-hardened. The cutting edges are also induction hardened, offering a hardness of approximately 63 HRC, and cut stranded copper cables up to 16 mm². The high-leverage combination pliers have different grip zones, for both flat and round materials. The insulated handles are particularly non-slip and comfortable thanks to the multi-component sleeves. Knipex tools with the special 1000 V symbol are approved for use at up to 1000 volts AC. To ensure that the special insulation can withstand the stresses, each tool is subjected to a breakdown test at 10,000 V AC before leaving the Knipex factory.
