A few years ago, I adopted my first deaf dog, a double merle Australian Shepherd who barely escaped death. Her breeder was going to "put her out of her misery." Luckily, a neighbor convinced him to forfeit the pup instead. I've been looking for a dog ID tag for her that says she is deaf, and there were some cute ones available. However, none showed the feminine side of the pup.
