Euphorbia stellata is a rare and visually striking succulent native to South Africa, known for its star-shaped arrangement of twisting branches that radiate from a thick, woody caudex. The stems are ridged and often display a reddish tint under strong light. This caudiciform euphorbia stores water in its base, allowing it to thrive in arid environments. Small, greenish-yellow cyathia (flowers) may appear seasonally. It is prized by collectors for its architectural form and unique growth pattern.

Water Needs:
Low; water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. Minimal water during winter dormancy.

Light Requirement:
Full sun to bright indirect light. Needs strong light to maintain its compact, colorful shape.

Maintenance:
Low; plant in well-draining soil. Avoid cold drafts and overwatering. Handle with care—sap may be irritating.
