Morse model 42 Drum Lifing Chain Slings are similar to a set of 'brothers' yet they are equipped specially for handling 55-gallon steel drums. With a capacity up to 2000Lb, the Heavy-Duty Drum Lifting Chain Sling can be used to lift drums horizontally and to upend a downending drum by 'off-vertical' mode.

Off-vertical mode is achieved by the following steps:

• Use lifting ring on outer end of alloy chain
• Lift horizontal drum and have it hang off-vertical
• Lift vertical drum by placing rod end hook under bottom rim of drum.
  As upright drum leaves floor it tilts to off-vertical position.
• Lower drum until its bottom corner meets floor, then guide drum to settle upright or allow it to tilt down to horizontal

• Alloy or galvanized finish
• Lift 55-galllon open top or tight headed drums and 85-gallon steel drums
• 2000Lb (907kg) Capacity
• Load tested to 200% of the rated capacity as per American National Standard ASME B30.9
