Yu Zhu is a traditional Chinese herb. It is neutral with a slightly bitter flavor. It nourishes yin, moistens the lung, nourishes the stomach, generates fluid.  May apply to dry cough, strained cough, dry throat and thirst due to yin deficiency. Yu Zhu is usually combined with Sha Shen, Mai Dong, Shi Hu and Chinese Yam in the preparation of tea or soup.
