Gold-on-gold creates a tonal field where the medallion and ornament read by raised-relief and contrast in saturation rather than by stark color difference — the rug looks like an heirloom rendered in cotton hand. Premium 3M-points construction gives the brushed-soft, dense-springy underfoot; the raised pattern is most theatrical here because all the design weight is doing its work through dimensional relief rather than chromatic contrast. Lighting flexibility is exceptional: warm light deepens the gold into amber-mahogany; cool light brings out the tonal architecture.
