See this pair of Fokker D.XVI (D.16) doing an exercise. The 281 and 282 were part of the Dutch Amy Aviation Group (LVA) which had 12 of them. It was the successor to the Fokker D.VII (D.7). The D.7 was at that time already 10 years old.
Due to engine problems of the 460hp Jaguar engines, initially the D.XVI could only fly near airfields.
This reproduction is the month of September of the Fokker Calendar.
